Dr. Becker, My dog recently had a blood test for allergies, with a result that was highly positive for Aspergillus furnigatus. She was on a enzyme that contained Protease and Lipase. The Protease contained Aspergillus oryzae and the Lipase contained Aspergillus niger. Do your Digestive Enzymes with Protease and Lipase contain any Aspergillus? I'd really like to know, as I would like to switch her to another enzyme. She is also allergic to Cladosporium, Fusarium, Penicullium and Alternaria. I'd also like to switch to your Probiotics again as well. I will look forward to your response. Thank you so very much. Annie

Hi Annie, great question. Enzymes can be derived from plant, animal or fungal sources. I strongly recommend avoiding fungal sources for pets that are sensitive to funguses (many animals). Pick an enzyme that uses plant or animal sources of amylase, lipase and proteases.

Dr. Becker, My question to you is, do your Digestive Enzymes contain animal or plant, or aspergillus? Thank you for responding.

Arussell4 ~~ Dr. Becker obviously missed that :) You can find the ingredients on the product page. The enzymes are animal (the pancreas which includes amylase, lipase and protease) and plant based (bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya -- both or proteases). No aspergillus.
