A lot can be learned just from watching the interactions that take place between our animal friends. If only we could all be this tolerant … and determined!
(By the way, we dare you NOT to smile while watching this video!)
Too Cute!!!!!!!!!
The rottie has gorgeous teeth and the puppy will need a chiropractic ajustment if he's not careful :)
Really enjoyed that!! Thanks
Haha! If only I could have boundless energy like a puppy's! (I'm working on it, I promise.)
The video made me laugh loudly. Fabulous.
Dr. Mercola was right - I did get a giggle out of seeing this adorable puppy attack the big, mean rottweiler....haha!
Just an example of a rottie who has a kind disposition with obvious good training. He was real gentle and a good sport regarding the puppy's antics!
And I am assuming that the rottie's underbelly is shaved either to reduce shedding by getting rid of the undercoat, or that they reside in a hot climate?
A smile a day keeps grumpiness at bay!
That was so sweet and so adorable. I very much enjoyed that. I love watching my two chiweenies playing. Elvis will grab a toy and start running around the house and Priscilla will take off after him doing her screaming meme thing and it's really fun to watch them.
Well that was certainly cute! I was thoroughly enjoying it until I saw the ashtray on the coffee table... : (
This is sooo cute! Puppies are the funniest little creatures. This shows why I don't want puppies in my house though, I like the older dogs-pups are just too rambunctious! Our neighbor brought over a pup to meet my German Shorthair and she was this patient with it. They know who the babies are and put up with it. Oh, yeah, whoever filmed this is REALLY brave - having a little puppy on white carpeting like that! Thanks for the smile, Dr. Mercola!
Great video of dogs at play. This Rottie has a great disposition and recognizes the puppy play. My Lab mix does this with my cat while laying on her back and the cat who is much older plays back and is very tolerant. When he has had "enough" he walks away and she sighs loudly.
Cute to watch when different species do it but I do watch.
Very cute and entertaining.
I was pleased to note that both the Rotweiller and the Beagle had their tails.
I like the phrase "our animal friends" and the observation that we can learn something from them. So how is it that cows, chickens, etc., are our friends and we eat them? For those who may need them we can get the animal elements from raw milk, eggs, etc. Preferably from dairies that pasture their cows and chickens, etc., after their useful dairy lives.
This site inclines to the spiritual in some ways, without imposing on others' belief systems so here is support for this idea from an Aramaic text given the title "The Essene Gospel of Peace" (none of the New Testament has been found in the original Aramaic) and from the lips of Jesus Christ:
But they answered him: “Whither should we go, Master, for with you are the words of eternal life? Tell us, what are the sins which we must shun, that we may nevermore see disease?”
Jesus answered: “Be it so according to your faith,” and he sat down among them, saying:
...
Kill not, neither eat the flesh of your innocent prey, lest you become the slaves of Satan. For that is the path of sufferings, and it leads unto death. But do the will of God, that his angels may serve you on the way of life. Obey, therefore, the words of God: ‘Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is breath of life, I give every green herb for meat. Also the milk of every thing that moveth and liveth upon earth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given unto them, so I give their milk unto you.
...he who kills the beast without a cause, though the beast attack him not, through lust for slaughter, or for its flesh, or for its hide, or yet for its tusks, evil is the deed which he does, for he is turned into a wild beast himself.
The pup is socialising and learning from play. Dogs see themselves as being equal. It is not the size of the dog in the fight that matters but rather the size of the fight in the dog.
