As the U.S. economy continues to flounder, most of us are looking for ways to stretch a buck.
In households with dogs, cats or other companion animals, it’s natural for pet owners to look at pet care expenses for opportunities to save a few pennies on the dollar each month.
The trick is knowing where you can cut expenses without decreasing the quality of life of the non-human members of your family.
A few do’s and don’ts:

- Do feed a high-quality diet
- Don’t overfeed
