Fainting Kittens

January 03, 2011 | 47,651 views | + Add to Favorites
Charlie and Spike are kittens with myotonia congenita, also known as 'fainting goat' syndrome. At the slightest sound or movement, the kittens respond by collapsing and falling into a rigid paralysis which lasts about a minute. Myotonia congenita in cats is extremely rare, and the kittens are healthy and normal in every other way. Typically, this condition does not affect lifespan or health in cats.
