As of last month the FDA had inspectors in China investigating pet food ingredient facilities in an attempt to find the potential source of contamination of chicken jerky pet treats imported to the U.S. Meanwhile, public pressure on U.S. pet food companies and pet product retailers to pull suspect treats from store shelves continues to mount.
